About Your Trip

Climb aboard with Captain Aaron and experience the thrill of some seriously top-notch shallow water fishing! Aside from the ship channels, the water is no more than 6’ deep, making it a great fishery for families and novice anglers who would like to avoid choppy waters.

Captain Aaron will guide you to some inshore honey holes and flats that will allow you to try your hand at either bait fishing or sightfishing! The species you can expect to target using this technique are Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder.
For these trips, Captain Aaron uses his 20' Shallow Sport, which has a crasy shallow draft and sneak into the skinniest of water!

Make sure to bring a valid Texas Fishing License as well as food and drinks of your choice. Other than that, Captain Aaron will provide the rest. He will provide all lures, rods, reels, and tackle. Live bait is included for this trip with the exception of croaker when they are available.

Sunglasses, sunscreen, towels, drinks and snacks of preference. All fishing gear is provided including live and artificial bait.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We caught fish but had to pay $50 extra for bait. Once the bait ran out we switched to lures and only caught 2 more in 30 minutes so I called the trip 30 minutes early. The worst part was the Captain smoked, blew smoke in our faces, and threw cigarette butts into the bay.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
