Blue water is in close right now. Bite seems to be better in the afternoon right now than in the morning, but we've been catching them. Bottom fishing has been great and so has blue water trolling. A lot of shark activity so we're having to get them to the boat fairly quick before the sharks get on them.

Mutton Snapper 14 lbs this week. We are catching Vermillion snapper limits too. Each trip we are catch some beautiful Mangrove snappers too. Sept 1-14 Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, AmberJack, Red Snapper, Trigger Fish and many others will be in Season. These days are filling up fast.

Trout bite has been good; they are moving out of the creeks out to the flats for spawning. The reds are in the pass and up shallow if you like to sight fish. Sheepshead are just starting to show up; the bite is still slow for them but should start getting excellent any day. Offshore Vermillion snapper has been excellent! We've been catching some triggers and a red grouper. The Amberjack is always a great way to finish up a trip of catching and releasing them

The Redfish are on fire right now. We've had consistent enough weather to pattern the fish, and the water is warming up enough to keep them active. Topwater plugs is my favorite way to target these fish right now, but I'll also use swim baits and jigs. The Red Grouper bite was on fire this last week with the couple of good weather days we had, and the Vermilion Snapper and Triggerfish have been consistent all month. The Vermillion Snapper are biting! The red grouper has slowed down a little but still catching a couple each trip. The Amber Jack bite inshore and off has been great fun to catch and release. The inshore Redfish are shallow been sight fishing for them and the big trout are starting to bite.

Spring fishing is ramping up! Starting see the hering and threadfins moving inshore which means our Spanish will be here anytime. Starting to catch a few sheepshead at the jetties. Red Grouper and Vermillion snapper fishing have been great especially since dredge operation has moved Out along with the dirty water it created since October. Going to be a good year already have quite a few trips in the book

Offshore in 100-120ft Red Grouper, Vermillion Snapper bite has been excellent! If you want to have fun after catching a few fish to eat the AmberJack fishing is great this time of year but out of season. A great way to finish up a trip getting your arms worn out! The Trout and Redfish are moving from the backs of creeks to the flats catching on soft plastic baits with a popping cork , and top water is just starting to get bites.
