About Your Trip

On these trips, we will be trolling for a variety of fish like Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bonito Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Hardtails, and much more! Depending on conditions and what experiences you would like we can get bottom fishing in as well. We fish up to 9 miles offshore. There is always a first mate on board who will take care of everything for you from giving tips and instruction to baiting and handling the fish for you once onboard.

Your boat is a 29ft Powercat that delivers a comfortable ride and fast cruise speed. She is a fishing machine equipped with the latest Garmin electronics, outriggers for amazing trolling spreads, and radar for running safely at night. Twin vee power cats have a reputation for riding better than monohull boats. She cuts the waves like butter.

If you are looking for the best inshore and offshore potential with an experienced and knowledgeable Captain this is your best choice. This 29’ Powercat is a center console boat with tons of room, perfect for up to 6 guests to ride and fish in comfort.

Captain Jeff offers half and full day packages that can be customized to fit your needs. Whether you want to troll inshore for Spanish Mackerel and Bonita or offshore for larger King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish and the occasional Wahoo, or do some bottom fishing on our wrecks and reefs for multiple species of Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and much more, or try to tackle some big sharks on a shark trip, the Captain will make sure you have a great experience with lasting memories.

All trips come with quality gear, tackle, and fishing licenses. You are welcome to bring a cooler with your drinks and snacks. No glass bottles, and no bananas. We do however provide bottled water. We also suggest bringing sunscreen and sunglasses with you.

Jeff started 30 years ago as a fly fishing guide, then moved to the Pacific Northwest and worked both Charter Fishing and Commercial Crabbing before settling here in beautiful PCB 7 years ago and now Captains the 29’ Twin Vee Center Console Catamaran. Offering Charter Fishing out of Panama City Beach, Florida my goal is always to give customers lasting memories of a lifetime. Here on the Gulf Coast of Florida we have world class sport fishing and I look forward to sharing that experience with you.

I offer both half and full day trips as well as 6 hour trips that can be customized to fit your needs. Rapid Fire Guide Q & A

175lb Blue Marlin
If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?
Grilled Mahi Mahi with a Mango Salsa
What’s your favorite band?
I like most all kinds of music
What’s your favorite movie?
I actually don’t watch tv
What’s your drink of choice?
I don’t really drink but occasionally I’ll have a Mai Tai
What was your last halloween costume?
Jack Sparrow
How did you get started guiding?
I started as a fly fishing guide in the Rocky Mountains in 1995. Four years later we moved to Depoe Bay Oregon where I worked on the Charter Boats doing deep sea fishing, whale watching, and commercial crabbing. I finally ended up settling here in Panama City Beach in 2018.
What makes you different from other guides?
I think all guides have their own unique ways they learn through their individual experiences. I think my combination of experience with fly fishing, commercial fishing, whale watching and sight seeing tours gives me a different perspective on things. 2 decades of building businesses focused in customer service also gives me insight on putting clients first and making sure your experiences are the most memorable they can be.
