It's these times we look forward to, the fish are biting no matter where you go. Out in the gulf the mackerel are biting very good along with snappers and the shallows around the mainland and islands the snook are also biting well and accompanying them redfish and tarpon and around town there's a bite of snappers and jacks and a few mackerel. I believe the bite is just going to continue so we're very excited to get some folks out there.

Hot weather temps in December has lead to hot fishing! This time of year if the weather and conditions are right, magical things can happen in the Everglades. In two days we hooked 7 fish on fly and 4 on spin. All fish were over 50lbs with the biggest close or over 150lbs.

Fishing is getting better and better by the day, offshore the sailfish, tunas, kingfish and wahoos are starting to move in and there's still a couple mahis around here and there.
The reef and wrecks had been very active with all kinds of snappers, groupers, mackerels, yellowjacks and more.
The Bay is also a good choice when the ocean waters are a little choppy, back there the Spanish mackerels are very think, some mangrove and lane snappers and a few cobias are staring to show up.
Fishing should keep on getting better as the next few cold fronts move through...

June The summer bite is on fire! Offshore trips are producing solid numbers of mahi, with blackfin tuna and grouper also in the mix. Snapper action remains strong on the reefs. Inshore, tarpon are still active during summer nights, and we’re seeing good bites from trout, snook, and the occasional jack. Both offshore and inshore trips are producing great action—now’s a prime time to get on the water!
