Fishing has been consistently good both inshore and offshore. Inshore we are targeting Striped Bass in a summer pattern, targeting these fish early and late in deeper water. Smaller fish are feeding on top as we have smaller bait start to flush out of river and estuaries. Bluefish are also being caught regularly, in more of surface feeding type situations. We are seeing increased presence of Atlantic Bonito, and some False Albacore. Again since we have so much bait on the bays, these fish tend to fill in this time of year which is essentially the beginning of our Fall...

Again since we have so much bait on the bays, these fish tend to fill in this time of year which is essentially the beginning of our Fall Run. Still plenty of Black Seabass and Fluke to be had for the dinner plate. offshore: Bluefin tuna are the name of the game, recreational size bluefin fishing has been on fire. Targeting them on jigs and top water, some live bait. Giants are also in abundance, which is a fun way to spend a day. We have been targeting these fish on live bait and artificial lures. On both light tackle and heavy gear. An experience to say the least. Generally ranging from the 200-900lb class. Shark fishing is consistently productive as well, Mako, Brown, Dusky and Hammerhead sharks have been willing to play on light tackle.
The Tuna Fishing was slow the past two weeks...
However the fishing for Mahi- Mahi more than made up for it... On our last trip we boated 18 Mahi's releasing several small rats. The Tuna fishing should pick up after these Hurricanes pass us buy. These storms churn up the ocean, and the Tuna go off their normal feeding cycle. Once everything settles down the Tuna will go back on the Feed !

The Inshore and Offshore Water Temperature is Warming UP... Big time !
That's right... Everyone knows we had a Mild Winter this year. The Offshore and Inshore Water Temperature is Warming Up at a fast rate, and that is what We WANT !!!!
All the Inshore and Offshore Species will be at least Two to Three Weeks Early this year compared to last year.
I am giving a Heads Up to Book Early... That's because things will be accelerated this year with the warm water moving in sooner than expected.

The Inshore fishing for Fluke, and Sea Bass should be hitting good in early May. The Offshore fishing for Tuna should also be firing on all cylinders by the end of May, or the beginning of June at the latest.
Last year we had some great Fluke and Sea Bass fishing including some incredible Tuna, Marlin, and the best Wahoo fishing ever.

We had a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Kevin! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time. He put us on the fish, made the experience fun and stress-free, and helped create some wonderful family memories. We highly recommend Captain Kevin to anyone looking for a great day on the water, and we’ll definitely be back!
Awesome way to get the kids on the water and experience some great fishing. Kevin was a wonderful guide with a wealth of knowledge about the fishery and the local area. Boat was huge and even has a head! 10/10
