We set sail from the dock at 6 AM anticipating a pleasant day of fishing. Instead, it evolved into an unforgettable day characterized by a substantial catch of giant snapper and numerous other fish. We thoroughly enjoyed exchanging stories, soaking up the sunshine, and savoring a few drinks, followed by an invigorating swim. Our fishing excursion began with deep dropping for snapper, yielding impressive results with the capture of large fish. The weather finally cooled down and the water temperature is running in the mid 60s. The lake is 2.5 low. Gerald and his buddy came out and did a 4 hour trip and fulled the box with some hug crappie and one monster cat fish. The crappie are moving upriver...
