Welcome to Lake Fork. The water level is - 3.98 below full pool and surface temps are 78 to 80 degrees. The lake had been turning over in a lot of areas but is coming out of it. Our bite still been shallow lately. Early morning 2' to 5' and after that 6' to 13' has been best. Fall is here and a lot of different baits and techniques will work during this time in certain situations. Drop shot, c- rig, tx rig, top water and shallow cranks. Report: fish are transitioning shallow, can be caught on square bills, underspins and top water baits. Clay points in 1-3 ft and back of pockets with grass.

Fork : 4.48 low . Bite has slowed down a bit but early morning first hour is hit or miss . Top waters and frogs around grass ok . Texas rigs and shaky heads good around big stumps near flats or channels in 3-7 ft . Square bills good same areas . Carolina rigs ok in 12-15 ft near deep side of the main lake points .

At Lake Fork water temp is 91 to 95 degrees and water level is -2.56 below full pool. The bass are biting pretty good. Drop shot, texas rig and c-rig has been the ticket for us. 15' to 26' on long points bridges and humps. It's hot so you need to dree cool and drink plenty of fluids.

Early morning top waters good around grass, poppers and frogs, buzz baits. Offshore bite is good on Carolina rigs and Texas rigs. When 12-25 ft deep big worms or flukes are best.
Deep crank baits are good over channel swings, usually 20-32 ft deep Shad patterns.

Welcome to Lake Fork. Lake level is - 2.04 below full pool and surface temps are 84 to 87 degrees. We're fishing shallower around a few bridges earlier with a drop shot. Some top water when Cloudy. Moving out deeper 18' to 22' on long extended points the rest of the day. Drop shot, c- rig and and tx. rig worms. These Fork bass like it hot out there in the Summer.

Eddie, enjoyed fishing, the boat was great, we knew the fishing might be tough, our guide tried hard to put us on fish but they weren't bitting, would love to come back in the early spring when the water temperature is not 88F, very good guide as far as technique and he went the extra mile for us even though things were tough. Would recommend Eddie to anybody that wants a chance at a lunker. Wiil hopefully come back in the spring to try again. Thanks again!!!!
