Inshore fishing has been good with flounder, sheepshead and a good bull redfish bite. Ian has offshore waters stirred up but the bite for bottom fishing has been good for snapper, beeliners, triggerfish and some seabass. As the water cleans up some striking fish should show up like king mackerel, barracuda, and jacks. Here are pictures of most recent fish.

Time is here for those overnight tuna trips!!! clear water has mover in and tuna, wahoo, white marlin are working the deep water rigs. This is the time to fill the freezer. Do some deep dropping for grouper on the way out and work the tuna all night. Give us a call. We carry up to six people so less than a thousand per person for a 24 hour tuna trip!!!

Tuna just now showing up, but it's still hard to predict, same as sails and dorado, we focus on the amberjack, and other target species that are still in season, such as swordfish, and Mangrove, vermillion snapper, always hope for the fish of a lifetime! Looking to book for some overnight trips for yellowfin and marlin 100+ miles offshore.

Water color has been super green offshore, a few nice fish around but they are scare and scattered. We found some wahoo, mahi, and tuna in one trip, all solo. Reef has some big yellow tails but not big numbers. Backcountry we are still finding some mangrove snapper and yellow jacks. No shortage of big sharks and cudas.

People often have the misconception that it's to hot to be in the Florida Keys is the Summer time which is completely false. As central and northern Florida has daily average temperatures reaching 100 plus degrees the summer time average in the Keys is right around 85 with light breezes and perfect sight fishing conditions for Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Sharks and so many more. From mid August to mid October is the quite season here in South Florida so come enjoy some fishing and resorts all to your selfs.

Fishing in the keys is still darn good. The quality Mahi are finally arriving! If you boat can deep drop the tile fish are the best table fare! Put larger black fin tuna fishing is just starting, along with the chance to pull ok a trophy tiger shark... the best fishing months are right around the corner..

Fishing report from Dave W. in Wilmington, North Carolina Book a trip with Captain Dave here.

The last couple weeks the wind has kept some from getting out and fishing but when the weather has cooperated fishing had been producing some nice fish. Trolling for Pelagic's has been spotty and when you do find them numbers have been down compared to previous seasons. Bottom fishing when you find your spot has been extremely good producing keeper gag grouper and for some reason lots of cobia. Almost every bottom trip produces keeper size cobia. Many of us agree that our cooler than usual spring that went straight to intense summer heat may have derailed some of the usual migration of certain species. That being said last few days those missing fishing are starting to show.
