About Your Trip

Captain Robert operates his charters out of Pompano Beach, FL, offering half and full-day adventures going after the area’s endless mix of big, tasty fish. Drop your lines around the reefs to reel in Snappers and Triggerfish or set your sights even higher and go after big game pelagics. Whatever you target, you’re in for a lot of fun and some hard-fought battles in these deep, warm waters.

You’ll be fishing aboard his recently refirbish
1987 Topaz Sportfish powered by twin 420 HP Caterpillar motors! She’s no slow coach, that’s for sure! At 38ft long, the boat boasts a fullly furnished cabin area and spacious back deck so your group can fish and relax in comfort.

The seafloor drops so quickly in this area that it takes less than half an hour to reach the fishing grounds. Once you get there, what you target is up to you. You’ll be given quality Penn and Shimano tackle to match your target species, so no fish is too big!

So you can motor out for a few hours on the reef or stay out all day to battle Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and even Sailfish. You can also head out at night, hitting the reef lines under the cover of darkness to take on the monster bottom fish that show up when the sun goes down.

Whatever you do on your trip, you can rely on Captain Robert’s 25 years of local guiding experience to make your day special. He provides all rods, reels, tackle, and lures, as well as fishing licenses for everyone onboard. Just bring sunscreen, sunglasses, food and drinks, and plenty of energy for the day ahead. With all the fish pulling, you’re going to need it!
