Fishing report from Daniel G. in Beaufort, North Carolina

Spring temps have fish moving in from offshore. Inshore jigging can produce grey trout, bluefish, puffers, and sheepshead. Inshore red drum are schooled up in the marshes, casting artificials has been the most effective method

Fishing report from Joey V. in Frisco, North Carolina

Hello, water is cooling down very fast but are still catching sheepshead and some great trout along the wrecks and some of the rocky bottom with using sand fleas for bait has been our primary go to here lately. We are starting to ramp up for a winter time striper and catfishing charters give us a call if you'd like to go

Red drum fishing has been very good sight casting and cut bait fishing for them. The trout are starting to really pick up as the wintering months get coming on casting jigs preferably z-mans 3 inch minno Z's have been working very good. A long with that the sheepshead fishing is picking up around the structures around the inlet and outside the inlet in the ocean.

Fishing has been really good out of the Morehead area. Inshore red drum have been loading up on shrimp, watching them bust working down the banks has been a lot of fun, mix in black drum and speckled trout with them. Near shore 1-3 lb bluefish, Spanish, and false albacore have been blitzing up and down the beach. Albacore aren't much table fare in my opinion but a damn good fight on light tackle! Bottom fishing is producing some spots, grey trout, hogfish, and puffers with the water temps getting cooler

Fishing report from Larry S. in Pensacola, Florida

October is a beautiful time to be out on the water here in the panhandle. The inshore bite is definitely awesome this time a year. You can pick off a lot of variety by pounding the banks with live shrimp, plastics, and twitch baits. Deep dropping or trolling offshore is still going strong. Just pick the right day to get out there as these northern winds start blowing pretty steady.

The nearshore bite has been on fire and it's only going to get better. It's not as hot as summertime, and the seas are calm. Nearshore the spanish mackerel, king mackerels, big Reds, are in full swing. Offshore the Famous Red Snapper on Friday through Mondays have been awesome. With cooler temps and calm seas we have been bringing in some big ones. Inshore the redfish, and speckled trouts are biting pretty good. So now is the time to book your trip, cooler temps, calm seas, big fish and no crouds.
