    After The Big Rains!!!! Inshore bite was bad just for a couple of days after the end of August monsoonal rains.... Had a few catches of blue cats and bass down the bay.... The bite and the salt water bounced back very quick tho and it’s been strong since..actually we’ve had no rain since that last week of August!!! The water is nice and salty now!! Sheepsheads showed up a lil early when the salt water came back. Some biggins too!!!! A large nice variety of fish-flounder, speckle trout, black and red drum etc...Still a lot of different fish in the bays. Out on the 4 hour fishing trips we offer its a catch a minute!! Fast action for sure!

    Couple shots. Tuna fishing continues to impress with all sizes available. Jig and bait bite with some topwater mixed in if you're lucky. Bass are around and we're a bit finicky this week with mild tides, bright sun, and warm water. False Albacore and Bonito are now being found in our local waters and fished with small epoxy jigs under birds. Truly the best time of year to be on the water when the weather cooperates.

    The inshore as well as the offshore fishing has picked up dramatically in the last two and three weeks... The fluke, Seabass, and bluefish have been hitting well in the usual locations in the bay and just on the reef outside. The offshore has also taken a dramatic uptick. Last week we had a 77 pound wahoo along with bluefin tuna. The canyons have opened up with yellow fin, blue marlin, and white Marlin... Not to mention great mahi mahi fishing

    Fishing really picking up with cooler weather. Kids back in school, business slowed a bunch. I have been catching fish on bait and trolling. Big fish on umbrella rigs and lots of fish on bait. I sometimes do both to get a limit of both. Big fish only 2 over 20 inches per person, 10 fish total per customer. Time to book before cold weather hits in December. Good fishing most time in year and slows down when it gets hot. Water temp 60 degrees fish go crazy and this is usually Feb to April. Lots real big fish now and time to book for Fall. Took wife out yesterday evening for date, and fishing was great!

    July 2022 has had its ups and downs, sound like....fishing? The heat has been like any other, in July, hot and dry. Don't plan on a limit of fish, as if you got 20 plus fish you had a good day. Someone will always argue with me but the majority had tough days, plenty big fish, but a limit takes lot of patience. I have had good days and tough days but still love my customers as they all know the up and downs. Most enjoy being on the water more than catching a limit! I have used trolling when bait was not working; and bait when trolling was not working. I am using slabs, Arigs, whatever they will hit, bite.

    Fishing on Lake Texoma, past several days. I had the large stripers located while trolling, but suddenly fishing changed and I went to live bait. Changes like this costs at least one day of poor results but I expect that, and change before poor fishing continues. Getting bait at 3:30 am is not my favorite thing to do, but it worked out great, and on to fabulous catch's. I was quite surprised by the large size of fish caught on bait, but great feeling to be back on track with striper limits! 10 fish per person, 2 over 20 inches. I will be on live bait now through most fall, and until fishing slows for winter, December. Most my weekends remain booked but. Lots Mondays thru Fridays dates open. Call for that special trip on Lake Texoma.

    Sure. Fishing has been really decent both inshore and offshore. Bluefin both giant and rec size to be had on bait/troll/spin locally. Bass transitioning from squid to sandeels and still productive on most tides under bird piles.

Lots of quality keepers from 3-6 pounds with enough doormat activity to keep it interesting. Sea bass and porgies both continue to be abundant. These great eating fish can be found and caught anywhere there's hard bottom.
