In the Summer months, mostly June and July, Captain Carl runs specialized tarpon trips that offer anglers of all skill levels a professional guide and an opportunity to do battle with the Silver King! Indian pass can be an outstanding place to target Tarpon as they migrate up the west coast of Florida. From Cedar Key to Apalachicolaa, these tarpon experience almost total bliss, and go almost 200 miles without seeing heavy fishing pressure.

Captain Carl has been fishing his whole life. He runs two boats, a 22' Capehorn for his inshore charters and aaa 26' Hydra Sport that can handle the chop required to run further offshore to fish the reefs and troll for nearshore denizens.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR code (like a mobile boarding pass). Just show your guide your QR code on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to go fishing. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a full refund. Your safety is our top concern.

All trips you need to bring Snacks Drinks and I Highly recommend Polarized Sunglasses. If you have small children you are also in charge of bringing a Coast Guard Approved Life Jacket. This is a requirement.

Payment & Tipping

After paying the deposit, a QR Code will be emailed to you. On the day of the trip, your guide will scan your QR code to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is for a customary tip (we recommend 20%).
