Captain Jason is an Oregon native who has spent his entire life on the water and in the outdoors, bringing over 30 years of experience to every trip. With a background rooted in both fishing and hunting—and a degree in Fish and Wildlife—he brings a well-rounded understanding of how these fisheries work and how to stay consistent throughout the seasons.
He fishes a wide range of waters including the Columbia, Umpqua, and Willamette Rivers, as well as nearshore and offshore coastal fisheries, giving him the ability to adapt and stay on fish no matter the conditions.
His approach is straightforward—use experience, stay flexible, and put anglers in the best position to succeed. Whether you’re chasing salmon, filling the cooler with rockfish, or heading offshore for tuna, the goal is always the same: a productive, well-run trip with plenty of action.
