About Your Trip

This is one of the most consistent and action-packed trips on the Oregon coast, perfect for anglers looking for steady bites and a full cooler.

You’ll run a relatively short distance offshore and fish structure where Rockfish, Lingcod, and other bottom species stack up. This trip focuses on bottom fishing, jigging, and drift fishing, keeping rods bent and anglers engaged throughout.

All gear is provided, including Daiwa Tanacom electric reels, making it easy to fish
deeper water effectively without the strain—great for both new anglers and seasoned fishermen looking for a productive day.

Limits are generous, with up to 10 fish per person, and action is typically steady from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll also take in the full coastal experience with chances to see whales, sea lions, seals, and seabirds.

If you’re looking for a reliable, fun, and fish-filled trip, this is hard to beat.

Captain Jason is an Oregon native who has spent his entire life on the water and in the outdoors, bringing over 30 years of experience to every trip. With a background rooted in both fishing and hunting—and a degree in Fish and Wildlife—he brings a well-rounded understanding of how these fisheries work and how to stay consistent throughout the seasons.

He fishes a wide range of waters including the Columbia, Umpqua, and Willamette Rivers, as well as nearshore and offshore
coastal fisheries, giving him the ability to adapt and stay on fish no matter the conditions.

His approach is straightforward—use experience, stay flexible, and put anglers in the best position to succeed. Whether you’re chasing salmon, filling the cooler with rockfish, or heading offshore for tuna, the goal is always the same: a productive, well-run trip with plenty of action.

From the boat setup to the way the day is run, everything is geared toward keeping things efficient, comfortable, and focused on fishing.
