We were originally booked for a 6-hour deep sea fishing trip with Juan Carlos; however, the weather was a bit too rough, so our 6-hour was changed to a 4-hour reef fishing experience. Despite the change, Captain Juan helped us to provide memories that will last us a lifetime. He took us to many great fishing areas, where my 15 year old son caught a 5-foot barracuda, a huge mackerel and a giant...

Recent Fishing Reports

Mid May 2026
Reef fishing has been the top producer in April and May here in San Juan. Kingfish, Cero mackerel, mutton snapper, jacks, barracuda and reef sharks have all been present in good numbers. Offshore it's a transition period but we did catch some marlin and yellowfin tuna. Inshore tarpon fishing has been good, with bigger fish in the mix now along with the juveniles.
