Fish Capt Mitch

Hi, my name is Captain Mitch. I'm a sixth generation Floridian born and raised in Everglades City, Florida and a third-generation fishing guide. I have fished the Ten Thousand Islands and Everglades National Park since the 1980's. My family is one of the original families coming off the islands before it became the Everglades National Park. My family lived in Flamingo, Florida and commercially fished all these areas from the 1920's up until the 1950's. Following in my forefathers' footsteps I began commercial fishing in the 1970's. I fish the same areas as a fishing guide today.
