I'm Captain Jason, a Campbell River local who has fished Discovery Passage for more than 25 years and has guided here professionally since 2011. We fish year-round from Coast Marina (1003 Island Hwy, Slip A7) aboard Boston Whaler boats: my 27' Cabin Cruiser with a heated cabin, onboard washroom and Starlink, plus a fleet of 17' Montauks run by my experienced local guides.

Winter (mid-October to March) is local resident Chinook season: quiet water, fewer boats and real winter springs. Summer brings Chinook and Coho. All rods, tackle and safety gear are included.

Voted Best Fishing Charter 2025 in the Campbell River Mirror Readers' Choice awards. Transport Canada certified and fully insured. Beginners, families and experienced anglers are all welcome.
