What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

Released a 800-850 lbs blue marlin in St Thomas in 1988. Also, 350-370 lbs swordfish caught on had crank rod and reel (no electric reel) in the chair for 5.5 hr fight on #50 test rod. Also, personally caught 2 swordfish in one night on stand-up tackle, one was 200 lbs and the other was 100 lbs. Also one time I had 2 different IGFA World Records: a 12.5 lbs guapote from CR caught on a fly rod but was an All Tackle World Record, and a 12.5-13.5 lbs (can’t remember, gotta find certificate) Big Eye Trevally caught on #20 tippet flyrod while fishing for rooster fish and dogtooth snappers at Coiba Island Panama, 1995.

Since i started enjoying taking others V fishing, say at 10-12 yrs old, 1972-74. My first mating on private marlin tournament boats, 1978, before i was 16.

A lifetime of professional sportfishing work from the cockpit of private and charter boats from S Florida, Bahamas, Mexico, St Thomas, and CR, starting in 1978; then being fulltime based here un Islamorada since 1996

On this trip, you’ll target an array of hard-fighting and highly prized fish, including Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish, and Marlin, with the possibility of reeling in the occasional Swordfish weighing up to 350 pounds! On a 6-hour trip, you’ll venture 15-20 miles out, giving you more time to battle these incredible fish and increase your odds of catching Marlin, Amberjack, or Tripletail. For the ultimate adventure, the 8-hour trip takes you 20-25 miles offshore for a full day of action-packed fishing.
