What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?
Released a 800-850 lbs blue marlin in St Thomas in 1988. Also, 350-370 lbs swordfish caught on had crank rod and reel (no electric reel) in the chair for 5.5 hr fight on #50 test rod. Also, personally caught 2 swordfish in one night on stand-up tackle, one was 200 lbs and the other was 100 lbs. Also one time I had 2 different IGFA World Records: a 12.5 lbs guapote from CR caught on a fly rod but was an All Tackle World Record, and a 12.5-13.5 lbs (can’t remember, gotta find certificate) Big Eye Trevally caught on #20 tippet flyrod while fishing for rooster fish and dogtooth snappers at Coiba Island Panama, 1995.

Gun Smoke!!!!!! Not only mellow drama but has tragedy ends, and all have a good to great morals to the episodes.

Dolphins, Seminoles, Costa Rica’s National World Cup Football Team, and Costa Rica’s national - Club de Sport Herediano

Black coffee, unsweetened tea, rye whiskey

Myself, booo!!!!!

Another healthy and productive day, week, month, year, decade, 100 yrs!!!
How did you get started guiding?
Since i started enjoying taking others V fishing, say at 10-12 yrs old, 1972-74. My first mating on private marlin tournament boats, 1978, before i was 16.
What makes you different from other guides?
A lifetime of professional sportfishing work from the cockpit of private and charter boats from S Florida, Bahamas, Mexico, St Thomas, and CR, starting in 1978; then being fulltime based here un Islamorada since 1996
