Captain Shane grew up on West Galveston Bay and has been fishing the nearby bays, marshes, and gulf for over 30 years. This experience coupled with his extensive knowledge of the seasons, tides, and bottom structure will help point you in the right direction to find fish. You just gotta be able to reel 'em in! Captain Shane prides himself in being both professional and personable and strives to provide all of his passengers with an unforgettable experience.
Captain Shane will take you out on his 22' Boston Whaler Outrage. The boat is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine and equipped with Garmin electronics and a Motorguide trolling motor. He's also got a T-top for shade in the summer time.

Join Captain Shane at 6 a.m. for a morning excursion scoping out some of the jetties in the Galveston Bay complex. On this trip the bait will consist of live shrimp and/or croaker. You'll be targeting giant black drum, speckled trout, and redfish, depending on the time of year and the temperature of the water. Truth is you never know what kind of monster will be at the end of your line out there! Captain Shane will provide the boat, ice for drinks and fish, rods and reels upon request, and all baits. You'll be targeting Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Tarpon, making it a great trip for a serious trophy trout hunter or for somebody just looking to bring in a whole mess of fish! Although Florida has become the hottest Tarpon fishery in recent years, the Texas coast is home to many of these beautiful fish, and if you want to battle with a fish that will test your strength, stamina, and fishing skills, you're in the right place! If you can handle the challenge, the “Silver King” is the fish for you. These fish are as tough as they are beautiful, and are a worthy opponent for any angler. Join Captain Shane for an exciting excursion right off the Galveston beaches. Wake up for a 6 a.m. or 9 a.m. departure, depending on how much of a morning person you are. You'll be targeting tarpon, bull reds, kingfish, jackfish and sharks, so get ready for some reelin'. The type of fishing will depend on the conditions, but you could be trolling lures, sight casting to pods of tarpon, or drifting natural bait.
