Captain Jake was raised in eastern North Carolina with a passion for sports and the outdoors. He attended East Carolina University on a full scholarship to play football for the Pirates. Jake graduated with a Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education, as well as, a 4 year letterman for the Pirates. Once his football career was over, his love for the outdoors took over. He found a job working on a local headboat where he mated trips from inshore/nearshore to 65+ miles offshore. His passion for chasing fish only grew over the years. He made his way back home to Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Jake teaches high school Health and Physical Education and is a charter captain along the Crystal Coast. His passion for teaching, learning, and the outdoors gives his clients one of a kind experiences.
