Captain Alex grew up in a small town located outside Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his childhood, Alex enjoyed fishing and hunting more than the average kid. It is here that his passion was sparked for hunting sea-life. Even though he was hundreds of miles from the salt water, his life-long dream was to become a Fishing Guide in Key West; a dream that has come to fruition. Fishing the flats is one of Captain Alex's strong suits because he brings the hunting and the fishing background together to get the fish in the boat and have a great time doing so. Welcome to Captain Alex's Charter where he offers Flats, Backcountry, inshore and Reef Fishing in Key West, Florida. Spin Fishing is offered for all ages and skill levels. The boat provides enough room for up to four fishermen. His goal is to make fishing easy and fun by modifying custom charters just for you and your party guests. Family trips, father-son outings, or single-person charters are all provided. Click to the left and right on the carousel above for photos of the Alex's sweet 28’ Blue Wave and the beautiful fish his previous clients have caught. With Captain Alex, you'll target tarpon, bonefish, permit, and barracuda on the flats. As well as snapper, mackerel, jacks inshore and in the backcountry. Also he offers fish mounts by Gray Taxidermy to immortalize your catch for a lifetime!

Fantastic trip with an excellent guide! I have fished all over north and south America. You always wonder what kind of guide you will get.
