Captain Alex grew up in a small town located outside Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his childhood, Alex enjoyed fishing and hunting more than the average kid. It is here that his passion was sparked for hunting sea-life. Even though he was hundreds of miles from the salt water, his life-long dream was to become a Fishing Guide in Key West; a dream that has come to fruition. Fishing the flats is one of Captain Alex's strong suits because he brings the hunting and the fishing background together to get the fish in the boat and have a great time doing so.
