All trips include bait, tackle, fuel, water, sports drinks, and fish cleaning, making for an easy and streamlined experience
from start to finish. Anglers only need to bring a valid fishing license, snacks, and something to take home their cleaned catch.
Fishing in this region is highly influenced by tides and seasonal movement, and Shawn uses local knowledge of the marsh system to stay on productive water throughout the day. Depending on conditions, anglers can expect to target redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and sheepshead. These species are well known for their strong fights, steady action, and excellent table quality.
Redfish are often found cruising shallow grass flats and shoreline edges, especially during moving tides when they are actively feeding in the marsh. Speckled trout are typically targeted over deeper cuts, ponds, and channels where baitfish concentrate. Black drum and sheepshead are commonly found around structure such as docks, oyster beds, and pilings, providing consistent opportunities throughout the trip.
