Sturgeon Seeker

My passion for the art of fishing ignited along the banks of the river. I vividly recall those youthful days when my friend and I, armed with bikes and a shared passion, pedaled our way to the Chilliwack river long before the luxury of a driver's license. Early before and after school were dedicated to casting lines into the water, chasing after coho and chinook salmon during the fall season. There's a distinct memory of being late for Thanksgiving dinner, an unintended consequence of our dedication to the pursuit of fish.

Now, a quarter-century later, that initial passion has blossomed into a diverse array of angling experiences. It has evolved from the seasonal focus on salmon fishing to engaging in bottom fishing for sturgeon, the delicate art of flyfishing for rainbow trout, and a year-round commitment to targeting a multitude of fish species that call our local lakes and rivers home.
