Captain Tyler is a professional tournament Bass angler who brings years of competitive fishing experience directly to his guided trips around North Texas.

Originally from Northern California, Captain Tyler went on to fish collegiately at Auburn University before continuing to build his career in competitive Bass fishing. He's since competed on fisheries across the country, earning numerous top finishes while testing his skills against some of the best anglers in the sport.

Most recently, Captain Tyler's success on the tournament trail earned him Angler of the Year honors in 2025. That competitive background has taught him how to quickly break down unfamiliar water, recognize changing patterns, understand fish behavior, and make the constant adjustments required to consistently find Bass.

Today, he enjoys sharing that knowledge with anglers around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His trips can be as straightforward or technical as you'd like. Beginners can learn the fundamentals of Bass fishing, while experienced anglers can dive into advanced topics like seasonal movements, lure selection, offshore fishing, tournament strategy, and modern forward-facing sonar.
