On this 8-hour trip you'll be venturing into the Trinity River between Houston and Dallas to target the massive, prehistoric-looking Alligator Gar! These beasts are one of the most distinctive looking fish you can find, with a needle-like head that looks like an alligator's and the body of a fish. Expect to use a classic rod and reel with live bait, cut bait, or artificial lure to get these to bite. Bubba conducts these trips on his 23' SeaArk skiff boat that can take you through even the shallowest waters. She can accommodate up to 4 anglers, so bring some good company! You can do your best to harvest every hog you see in this safari-style hunt. We will drive through the darkness in hunting vehicles as we search for wild hogs with our thermal optics. As soon as we spot the hogs, the stalk is on and you can do your best to harvest as many as possible. We hunt large free range ranches as well as fenced hunting preserves. A minimum of two hunters is required, and our team recommends hunting for at least two nights so that you can get plenty of time in the field. Read More

This is our most popular hunt package. Check-in is on Friday after 1:00 PM and check-out is after breakfast on Sunday. This package includes two nights of lodging and three days of hunting and fishing. Meals are provided from dinner on Friday evening through breakfast on Sunday morning. One hog of any size is included. Skinning fees are $50 per hog. Additional hogs are $1.25 per pound, or $.90 per pound if you opt for a thermal hunt (see Thermal Hunt option below).
