Appropriate clothes for the season. DO NOT underestimate how cold it can be in the mornings on the water. Make sure to check the hourly forecast to see what the temps will be throughout our trip. If you are traveling here to Austin for your trip anytime from October - March, pack some heavy winter clothing just in case. Even in October and March, while it is unlikely, occasionally we see temperatures in the 30s. Rain gear if the weather forecast warrants it, sunglasses (preferably with polarized lenses, if possible), food/snacks, camera, sunscreen, bug repellent.
