Head out for a half day adventure with Captain Caleb and witness the productivity that the waters of Corpus Christi, Texas have to offer. No matter your skill level, Captain Caleb will lead the way!...Read More
These half-day adventures change throughout the course of the year: In the summer months, Captain Caleb likes to hit the grass lines on the bays from either the boat or wading around stalking speckled trout and redfish. In the Winter and Spring months, Captain Caleb is usually drifting rock piles or flats with shrimp and a popping cork targeting Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout.
For all his trips, Captain Caleb uses a 23’ Shoalwater center console equipped with a trolling motor, which is perfect for sneaking up on fish that get frightened easily. This vessel can accommodate 4 anglers comfortably and a 5th can usually squeeze on as well, so make sure you bring some good company!
Captain Caleb likes to fish a myriad of techniques - throwing live bait and artificials, drifting shell bottoms, and fishing backwaters. It all depends on what the fish are into that day.
Make sure you bring a valid Texas fishing license, a pair of sunglasses, food, drinks, and an ice chest for your day’s catch. Captain Caleb will take care of the rest!
Captain Caleb has been guiding down on the coastal bend for the last few years. He specializes in Speckled Trout and Redfish during the Spring and summer months and switches gears to duck hunting (and setting up for the season) in the late Fall and Winter months. He still runs fishing trips intermixed and loves the occasional cast and blast.

Caleb was great with my 7 year old twins. His patience with them was beyond expectations. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 kids. His boat was a typical low draft flats boat, that was comfortable and well kept. My wife did not fish and was along ...Read More for the ride, she said was comfortable. He had a very nice electric motor that we drove along the shore and up to oyster reefs with. We fished with popping corks and live shrimp (new to us Chesapeake Bay anglers). There was plenty of fresh lively bait. He had plenty of rods rigged before hand. All of them were in good shape. He was highly knowledgeable with the local waters, as it could have been very dangerous with all the old oil obstructions and oyster reefs throughout the area. His electronics were brand new (a week old). Our day started out slow, till we found them. We caught 40-50 fish (mostly redfish with 8-10 keepers). We caught 4 different species of fish. Black Drum, flounder, sheepshead, and many red fish. If in the area we absolutely would go again.

Captain Caleb gave my family an amazing first time experience; saltwater fishing. He met us less than 5 minutes from our cottage, and had us in our first spot in less than 20. We did an afternoon, 4 hour+, and we pulled in around 40 fish. My wife and ...Read More 2 boys (12&14), didn’t fish the entire time, and lost several due to inexperience, or we would have had several more. The moment any of us had our hook out of the water, Captain Caleb had fresh bait ready to go. He would bait, cast and repair line as needed, without request. He was very social, respectful and a 100% pleasure to be around. Any person looking to fish, without the stress of dealing with the issues associated with kids and new anglers, this is the man to hire. As a dad, and typically having to do everything he did, he truly made it a perfect day. Thanks again Captain Caleb, you are loved by the Logan family!
