Captain Eric Whitley of 8WT Charters grew up bass fishing with his dad across Texas lakes and ponds, but as soon as he first fished saltwater he was hooked for life.
Captain Eric endlessly explores the saltwater of the Upper Texas Coast and is constantly trying to find new and untouched skinny water.
After one day on the water with the late Texas fly fishing legend Captain Chris Phillips in West Galveston Bay, Captain Eric knew fly fishing for Texas Redfish was how I wanted to spend my time.
Must like Captain Chris instilled Eric's passion for casting to tailing Texas redfish, he looks forward to imparting the same with you on your next day on the water with 8WT Charters.
