On this trip, you'll be fishing from Trey's 12' drift boat, which is ideal for river fishing because it can easily move with the current and can get into shallow riffles and slow seams where fish like to hang out.
As you cast your line and wait for a bite, you'll also be treated to stunning views of the surrounding environment. There are plenty of birds, deer, and other critters here to keep your eyes open for. Plus, with Captain Trey at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable guide who knows all about the Hill Country environment. He also provides all the rods, reels, and flies, so you just need to bring some sunscreen and a good attitude.

Captain Trey began fly fishing 10 years ago, at the age of 14. His parents gave him a fly rod for Christmas, and he began catching bass, bluegill and carp on the 8’ 4 weight rod in NW Houston, TX. Upon graduation from high school, he became obsessed with the sport of fly fishing.
He learned quickly that there’s world-class fly fishing in New Braunfels, TX and that he wanted to offer others a chance to share the same experiences. He began taking teammates fly

After graduating from Texas Lutheran University, Trey went to Colorado and learned the fisheries of the Gunnison River Valley. Spending the summer networking and learning from veteran anglers and guides was invaluable to him, and now he's a pro guide on his own! Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
