Captain Mark will guide you on a thrilling adventure through the waters of Key West, Florida!

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain Mark’s 40-foot Luhrs sportfisher, which is equipped with two 750-HP Caterpillar engines that will get you out to your destination quickly and seamlessly. She can accommodate up to 6 adventurous anglers and has a GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, and ice box.

On this trip, you’ll be targeting a wide variety of species, including Billfish, like White Marlin and Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Mutton Snapper, and Amberjack. You might also catch a few sharks. Prepare yourself to feel the intense power of this apex predator as you reel it in. The longer you go, the farther out you can travel, and the farther out you travel, the bigger the fish get!

Don’t forget to bring a cooler to take home your day’s catch, food and drinks for the day (no glass), sunscreen, and a hat. Captain Mark will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

The Captain has eagle eyes and Anthony moves like an octopus, neither would give up until we CRUSHED IT. 2 Black Tail Tuna and 9 Mahi later we were happy as fishing guys could be. I am happy to recommend them for your trip with the guys.

Forget that we didn't catch many fish, and the few we did weren't the fish we went after. The boat, although seaworthy, needed lots of maintenance on the interior. Dirty, very worn, stuff laying around, windows dirty. When we approached the boat, the Captain was upset that he hadn't been fueled yet (no big deal, because it got done), didn't want to use the material supplied to me to pay, spent the entire trip topside not conversing with us, and disappeared immediately after docking in a personal vehicle. The Crew handled all the fishing and spent no time talking to us. Just handed a pole to someeone when it needed to be brought in. Crew did a very good jpb cleaning the few fish we did catch and recommended a restaurant to cook them. I guess for the money spent, I expected some human interaction and discussion of what was going on and how we could help. Our fault? We were all new to this experience, and that was known before the day we went out. We didn't really even know to expect, but likely will not do something like this again.

Had a great trip with a few friends. Trolling for the fish we initially wanted to catch was limited due to seaweed, but the captains were knowledgeable and adjusted for the conditions, and did their best to put us on some nice fish. We had a great time fishing. John was great knowledgeable and did everything he could to make the fishing trip successful for us. We would reccomend Captain Experience to anybody. We will definitely be booking it again when we go back to Key West.

We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
