Join us for a 4-hour shared drift fishing trip out of Fort Lauderdale—perfect for anglers of all levels! With on of our seasoned and trusted Captains at the helm, you’ll head a short ride offshore to productive reefs and wrecks where the action starts fast. These trips are shared with up to 6 passengers total, and require a minimum of 4 passengers booked to set sail. All bait, tackle, and gear are included.

Drift fishing is a relaxed, hands-on style where everyone gets to fish at once, making it great for families, beginners, or seasoned anglers. Common catches include snapper, grouper, kingfish, tuna, and more, depending on the season. You’ll also enjoy beautiful views of the Fort Lauderdale coastline while fishing in some of South Florida’s most active waters.

Just bring your own snacks, drinks, and sun protection—we’ll handle the rest. Whether you’re looking to take home dinner or just experience the thrill of reeling in fish offshore, this trip is a fun, affordable way to get hooked on the ocean.

We are a deep sea fishing charter based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. If you're looking for your trophy catch or some dinner for the table, we are your guys. Captain Hector and I (Captain Colton) have been fishing these waters for many years now with tons of experience on the water from Pompano all the way down to the Keys. Basically the whole southeast coast. Our fishing machine for your fishing adventure is a 36 foot Palmetto, powered by twin Honda 250 HP diesel engine. We really enjoy and look forward to putting a smile on our clients face when they get to catch a fish on one of our trips. Whether you're an experienced angler or you've never held a fishing rod before we can coach you through the correct techniques to land that trophy fish you've been waiting to catch. What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

I get this question a lot on charters and it's not a fish I caught but it's a fish I put a good client on. It was a 100lb Amberjack that we caught on a light jigging rod and we fought it for 30 min. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

A go to for me is a classic steak and some potatoes. You can never go wrong with a good ole juicy steak.

What’s your favorite band?

I don't personally have a favorite band but my favorite genre is Country music, though I love all kinds of music.

How did you get started guiding?

I had always loved to fish with my grandfather growing up in bass tournament together. Which led to him introducing me to pier fishing; where I would target nearshore species such as snook, tarpon, mackerel, mangrove snapper and a variety of other species. From there on my fishing addiction grew more and more. I started out my fishing career on a party boat in Miami, FL. I started as a mate, learning the ropes which led to me pursuing my captains license. I ran that same party boat for about 2 years which taught me a lot about fishing and how to be a captain. Fast forward to present day and now Captain Hector and I are proud owners of Get Reel Sportfishing where we get to share our some love for fishing with you!

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 10 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 10 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
