The 6-hour charter with Captain Hector is where Fort Lauderdale fishing really opens up. More time means more ground covered, more species in play, and more fish in the box.

Fort Lauderdale sits on the edge of the Gulf Stream, which means deep water and massive fish just 1-3 miles from the dock. No long runs, no wasted time, just blue water and bent rods.

We'll troll offshore for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna. We'll work the reefs for Snapper and Grouper. We'll go where the bite is, and with 6 hours, we have room to find it. Your captain reads the conditions in real time and puts you exactly where you need to be.

We are a deep sea fishing charter based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. If you're looking for your trophy catch or some dinner for the table, we are your guys. Captain Hector has been fishing these waters for many years now with tons of experience on the water from Pompano all the way down to the Keys. Basically the whole southeast coast. Our fishing machine for your fishing adventure is a 36 foot Palmetto, powered by twin Honda 250 HP diesel engine. We really enjoy and look forward to putting a smile on our clients face when they get to catch a fish on one of our trips. Whether you're an experienced angler or you've never held a fishing rod before we can coach you through the correct techniques to land that trophy fish you've been waiting to catch. What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

I get this question a lot on charters and it's not a fish I caught but it's a fish I put a good client on. It was a 100lb Amberjack that we caught on a light jigging rod and we fought it for 30 min. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

A go to for me is a classic steak and some potatoes. You can never go wrong with a good ole juicy steak.

Everything Else to Know

We have everything onboard for you to have an excellent time, we provide waters for hydration but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. *NO BIG COOLERS ALLOWED ONBOARD* we have a cooler for snacks and drinks on board. Please consult with the Captain beforehand if you wish to bring a small cooler. Make sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen as we are in the hot Florida sun for hours on end. The only thing not provided with the total trip cost is Live Bait. Live Bait comes at an additional fee.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 10 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 10 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
