About Your Trip

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Frankie, where heart-pounding action meets the stunning natural beauty of Tampa Bay! Launching out of Bayport, Florida, these trips explore some of the region’s most productive and scenic fishing spots—from the winding backwaters of Weeki Wachee and the lush mangroves of Pine Island, to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you’re after that first tug on the line or your next personal best, Captain Frankie is here to put you on the fish and make it a trip to remember.

Specializing in inshore adventures, Captain Frankie targets a variety of prized gamefish, including hard-fighting Snook, tailing Redfish, feisty Seatrout, and the occasional Grouper in deeper pockets. These waters are also home to Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and seasonal surprises, offering plenty of rod-bending action for anglers of all skill levels. Depending on the season and your goals, you’ll use light tackle, live bait, and even artificial lures to match the bite and maximize your chances of landing quality fish.

Trips are designed to fit your schedule, whether you’re looking for a laid-back morning or an all-day pursuit:

4-Hour (Half Day): Perfect for families, beginners, or anyone wanting a relaxing time on the water, this trip focuses on the calm estuarine waters of Tampa Bay, where fish are plentiful and the scenery is unmatched.

6-Hour (3/4 Day): Want a little more time to explore? This trip gives you extra flexibility to run farther and target a wider range of species, making it a great option for more serious anglers or those looking to cover more ground.

8-Hour (Full Day): The ultimate experience! Venture deeper into the Gulf or spend time working multiple hotspots throughout the inshore fishery. This trip maximizes your time on the water and increases your odds of hooking into a trophy.

You’ll be fishing aboard a comfortable, well-equipped vessel loaded with top-tier rods, reels, and all the tackle you’ll need. Captain Frankie provides all necessary licenses, gear, and expert guidance throughout the trip—so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, sun protection, and a sense of adventure.

Whether you're a seasoned angler chasing your next big catch or just dipping your toes into the world of saltwater fishing, Captain Frankie will tailor your trip to meet your needs and ensure a smooth, fun-filled day. With his local knowledge and friendly approach, you’re not just fishing—you’re learning, exploring, and creating memories that’ll last long after you leave the dock.

Let Captain Frankie show you why Tampa Bay is one of Florida’s premier inshore fisheries. Book your trip today and get ready to reel in the adventure!
