If you’re ready to chase the heartbeat of South Carolina's freshwater scene, Captain Jason is your guy! With years of experience and countless hours logged on the legendary waters of Lake Murray), he knows exactly where the Striped Bass are hiding—and more importantly, how to hook 'em.

This 5-hour guided adventure is all about putting you on the bite. Depending on the season, you’ll be targeting hard-fighting Striper using either down rods and live bait (May through September) or trolling setups (September through May). But don’t be surprised if things heat up with some bonus topwater action or a spoon-fed strike—the Stripers here don’t always follow the rulebook, and Captain Jason is ready to adapt with the bite.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 20’ Blue Wave bay boat equipped to handle serious action and smooth cruising. The vessel is tricked out with a Garmin GPS, a dual-screen Lowrance HDS fishfinder system, Halo 20 radar, a wireless MinnKota Terrova trolling motor, and a Super Bait 2 live well—perfect for keeping that fresh Blueback Herring lively and ready for duty. There's even a port-a-potty onboard for added comfort, especially for women and kids.

Captain Jason welcomes anglers of all ages, so feel free to bring the whole crew along for a family-friendly day on the water! Just be sure to ask in advance if you need a child-sized life vest, and don’t forget to pack snacks and drinks to stay fueled up for the action. Alcohol is permitted in moderation (no glass bottles or hard liquor, please), and sunscreen (non-spray), hats, and sunglasses are a must-have under the South Carolina sun.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
