About Your Trip

Capt Cody is here to show you the stunning waters of Freeport. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Cody can tell you all about them.

These waters are home to Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and more, depending on the season. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Cody can also take you Flounder gigging.

Capt. Cody will bring you aboard a 23'
Bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

With over 20 years experience on the Texas gulf coastal waters fishing and duck hunting, now's the time to experience fishing in Freeport for yourself, with capt Cody

There’s nothing I love more than sharing the beautiful waters of Freeport with people who appreciate a good day outdoors. With over two decades spent chasing fish and waterfowl along the Gulf, I’ve seen more sunrises on these tides than most see in a lifetime. Whether we’re stalking redfish on the flats or setting up for a morning duck hunt, my goal is always the same—to give you an unforgettable experience on the water. I run a 23-foot bay boat built for both comfort and adventure, and I can’t wait to show you what makes this stretch of coast so special.
