Join Captain Dusty for a crappie fishing adventure in eastern Oklahoma, just 10 miles north of McAlester. With more than 17 years of experience targeting crappie, Captain Dusty has developed the knowledge and techniques needed to consistently locate fish and help anglers make the most of their day on the water.

Trips typically begin at 8:00 a.m., and the departure time is flexible to accommodate your schedule. You'll be fishing from a 22' center console that provides plenty of room to fish comfortably throughout the day. Guests are also welcome to connect their devices and play Bluetooth music during the trip.

This trip is designed for anglers of all skill levels, from first-time fishermen to experienced crappie anglers. It is also child friendly and disability friendly, making it a great option for families and groups. Beer is permitted in cans for guests who wish to bring refreshments along.

Trips typically last approximately six hours, giving anglers plenty of time to locate schools of fish and enjoy a productive day on the water. Captain Dusty adjusts techniques and locations based on seasonal patterns and current conditions to maximize your opportunities. Whether you're looking to learn new techniques or simply fill the cooler, he'll work hard to put you on the fish.

All gear is included, including rods, reels, tackle, and live bait, so there's no need to bring any fishing equipment. Just pack your favorite food and drinks and come ready to fish. At the end of the trip, fish cleaning is included at no additional cost, making it easy to take your catch home ready for the table.

For guests traveling from out of town, there are several convenient lodging options nearby, including an Airbnb located just one mile from the meeting location as well as numerous hotels in the McAlester area.

Please note that all anglers are required to possess a valid Oklahoma fishing license before the trip. Captain Dusty looks forward to helping you create lasting memories while targeting Oklahoma crappie.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip including snacks and drinks.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 5 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
