Whether you're a first-time angler or a seasoned pro, Captain Kevin brings the kind of expertise that turns an average day on the water into a legendary one.

On this half-day trip, you'll fish aboard Captain Kevin’s 21’ Angler center console — a versatile and well-rigged vessel perfect for chasing down the action across Lake Oconee. Depending on lake and weather conditions, you'll launch from one of several ramps, giving you the best chance to start the day on top of the fish.

Captain Kevin runs a dynamic program, often trolling up to 15 rods at once with a spread of live bait, spoons, and multi-jig setups. This technique is tailor-made for targeting hard-fighting Hybrids and Stripers, but there’s also plenty of opportunity to hook into big Catfish and even Largemouth Bass throughout the lake. If you’re after consistent action and rod-bending fun, this trip delivers.

All bait and tackle are included, so just bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate gear. Captain Kevin offers fish cleaning for an additional fee, so you can take home your catch ready for the grill.

Wow!!! Too many to list but I was a professional musician as well and my Band "4 Dog Pile Up" Rocked!!!

Non-Alcohol Michelob Ultra. I have to drive and be safe 100% of the time.

What do you want for Christmas this year?
Same as every year more fishing stuff!
How did you get started guiding?
It was my passion and my dream so I made it happen in 1998 and have not looked back since.
What makes you different from other guides?
I feed you, then I make you laugh until you pee your pants and troll up to 20 rods. I have had fish on 16 rods at one time this year and have had 6 fish on a single rod on a trip this year so things can get crazy quick. Just watch my video's on Facebook or You Tube.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 5 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
