About Your Trip

Located in Biloxi, MS, Captain Nathan is a former high school teacher who fell in love with fishing the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After deciding to make a career change, he dove head first into building his business to take families out on the water to make memories that will last a lifetime. The same memories he has built with his own family fuels his fire to help others have those same experiences.

His boat is a 2009, 20 foot Mako 204. Outfitted with a 2025 Yamaha F200 outboard motor, she will get you and your family reliably to the fish. The Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor with I-Pilot holds you in spot no matter the conditions and the Lowrance Elite FS-9 will show you exactly what is below the surface. Your drinks are sure to stay nice and cold inside the Kysek 35L Ice Chest. The Madelyn Kaye is a fish hunting machine, and with Captain Nathan at the helm, you are sure to catch fish and make memories that will last a lifetime.

What do you want for Christmas this year?

Either an active target system for the boat or a Barnett Crossbow.

How did you get started guiding?

I was a band director for 11 years. Early nights were 8 pm getting home most nights of the week. My daughter started realizing how little I was home and would beg me to stay home and play instead of go to work. I decided it was time to change careers that allowed me to see my kids more and be a better Dad. My wife suggested I fish full time (I know guys, jackpot) and I dove head first into becoming a captain and building a career out of it.

What makes you different from other guides?

I believe connecting with whoever is on the boat is the most important thing about what I do. People book the business or the boat first, but after that, it's on me to make sure I am able to get people on fish and help create lasting memories that make them want to fish with me again. Friendships built through fishing and fellowship are what is most important to me and in the long run, if I can do that on a consistent basis, then I am doing the right things for people trusting me with their time. I also really enjoy working with kids and helping them learn how to fish. That is probably from my background in education, but helping kids get hooked on fishing is one of the many highlights to why I love this career.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. If you would like to bring drinks other than water, feel free to. I will have space in my cooler for you. Please plan to leave a small cooler in your vehicle for your cleaned catch at the end of the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
