Kick off your morning adventure on the water with a half-day charter fishing trip out of Venice, Louisiana, departing the dock promptly at 6:00 AM. You'll be riding in style aboard a sleek and powerful 35' SeaHunter – a high-performance center console known for its smooth ride, speed, and comfort, even in open Gulf waters.

This trip is perfect for anglers of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned offshore fisherman or a first-timer, you'll have access to both electric and conventional reels, allowing you to fish at your pace and comfort level. Our experienced captain and crew will guide you through a hands-on experience targeting a variety of Gulf species using a combination of live and cut bait.

Expect action-packed fishing as you work different depths and structures, chasing species such as snapper, cobia, amberjack, and more depending on the season and conditions. With the stunning backdrop of Venice – often called the "Sportfishing Capital of the World" – you'll enjoy not only exciting fishing but also breathtaking views of Louisiana’s vast coastal waters.

We’ll return to the dock around midday, giving you the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore. Whether you’re in it for the fight or just want to soak in the experience, this half-day trip offers the perfect taste of what Gulf fishing is all about.

Trip Details:

Duration: approximately 6 hours

Departure: 6am (DST) / 7am (ST) from Venice Marina

-captain will confirm time 1-2 days before trip. Safety is our #1 concern so time may change due to environmental factors

Included: Bait, tackle, rods/reels, ice, and licensed captain

FUEL IS NOT INCLUDED AND WILL BE PAID DIRECTLY TO MARINA UPON RETURNING FROM TRIP

Tip for Deckhand is NOT included and is customarily 15-20%

What to Bring: Food, drinks, rub on sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and a cooler for your catch after processing. Soft bag coolers for food and drinks are allowed on boat but not required

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
