About Your Trip

Join Captain Scott for an extended offshore trip to the Islas Marías, a remote island chain located roughly 80 miles offshore. Known among offshore anglers as "Cowtown," this area is recognized for its opportunities to target Yellowfin Tuna and other pelagic species in productive bluewater surrounding the islands. Trips depart at either 5:00 AM or 5:30 AM, depending on the schedule.

The trip begins with approximately a three-hour run each way, making this a charter that typically lasts more than 12 hours. Once you arrive, Captain Scott will fish a variety of offshore areas using the techniques that best match the conditions. Depending on the day, you may fish with live bait, stickbaits, poppers, kites, balloons, or by trolling, allowing you to adapt to changing conditions throughout the day.

You'll fish aboard Captain Scott's 32' center console, a federally permitted offshore fishing vessel built for long runs and bluewater fishing. The boat is equipped with Garmin electronics, Hooker tuna tubes, balloon and kite fishing equipment, custom rods, and Shimano reels. For added comfort, the boat also features a restroom and Bluetooth audio, allowing you to play your own music during the trip.

This trip welcomes anglers of all experience levels, from first-time offshore fishermen to seasoned anglers. However, because the charter typically lasts more than 12 hours and involves extended time offshore, it is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

Captain Scott provides all bait, tackle, and fish cleaning for the trip. Please bring any food and drinks you'd like for the day, along with sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing. Beer is welcome aboard as long as it's in cans—no glass containers, please.

For anglers who want additional time on the fishing grounds, this trip can also be customized into an overnight charter for an additional cost.

Everything is included,except food and alcohol but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
