Head offshore from Belize City and experience the power and beauty of the Caribbean beyond the reef. These 4- to 7-hour charters are designed to showcase the best of the local fishery, whether you’re looking for fast-paced half-day action or a full-day bluewater run.

Each trip is tailored to your goals. Let the captain know what species you’d like to target, and the game plan will adjust accordingly. Depending on the season and conditions, you may fish for Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin, Grouper, Snapper, Tuna, and more. Techniques vary from trolling and deep sea fishing to bottom fishing, spinning, drift fishing, popping, and even spearfishing when conditions allow.

Both half- and full-day trips can take you outside the World Heritage–listed Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and into open Caribbean waters. The run itself is part of the experience, with brilliant blue channels, coral formations, and offshore drop-offs stretching anywhere from 5 to 50 miles out. The crew may deploy live bait, cast to breaking fish, or use electric reels and heavy tackle when targeting deeper species.

You’ll fish aboard a 37’ Intrepid built for comfort and performance, accommodating up to six anglers. The boat features a cuddy cabin with an enclosed head, fighting chair, outriggers, live bait well, GPS and fishfinder electronics, snorkeling and spearfishing gear, and plenty of shaded space. Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait (when needed) are all included, along with catch cleaning and filleting at the end of the trip.

A cooler stocked with water, sodas, and local beer is provided. Full-day trips give you extended range and flexibility to cover more water and adapt to changing conditions. Children are welcome aboard, making this a great option for families as well as serious anglers.

Guests will need to purchase a valid Belize fishing license prior to departure. A professional first mate will assist throughout the trip, and gratuities of 15–20% are customary for a job well done.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Stefan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
