Hi! I'm Captain Harvey. I'm a Charter Captain in Ocean Isle Beach NC and the owner of my operation. I'm a North Carolina native, a U.S. Army veteran, a graduate of the U.S. Maritime Academy, I hold a Master's License from the U.S. Coast Guard, and I'm a member of the Pro Staff for Bass Pro Shops

With many years of experience as a recreational fisherman, tournament fisherman, and Ocean Isle Fishing Guide, I can provide an enjoyable and memorable day on the water for novice anglers to experienced anglers and solo trips to family fishing trips.

I am based in Ocean Isle Beach (or OIB as everyone calls us), which is just north of the NC / SC state line. I fish the island beaches of Brunswick County NC: Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Sunset Beach, Calabash, as well as the South Carolina beaches in Little River SC, and North Myrtle Beach SC. It sounds like a big area, but it's just a short boat ride along these barrier islands and beaches in Brunswick County NC.

My Inshore Fishing Charters offer opportunities to catch Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum, and many other species. My Nearshore Fishing Charters target Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel when trolling and, my Nearshore bottom-fishing charters mostly target Sea Bass, Flounder, Bull Drum, Cobia, and an occasional Grouper. My Shark Fishing Charters, which are very safe and are a lot of fun, target various species of sharks from 10 to 60+ pounds. Lastly, one of my most popular trips are my 2 hour Kids Fishing Charters, which target fun, easy to catch species like Puffer Fish, Whiting, Pigfish, Pinfish, Croakers, etc... The kids are in constant action for 2 hours and the limited time keeps them from being in the elements for too long.

I am a North Carolina native and I've fished NC from the mountains to the Coast my entire life. I began fishing as a kid an fishing inland and I progessively grew as an angler throughout my life. My current qualifications to be your Captain are:

- Graduate of the U.S. Maritime Academy
- Masters License from the U.S. Coast Guard
- Certified in First-Aid and CPR
- Began as a Fishing Guide in NC in 2000
- Full-time fishing guide / Captain
- Member of the Pro Staff for Bass Pro Shops
- U.S. Army Veteran - former Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
