Join Captain Nathan for a guided Walleye fishing adventure on the St. Clair River and Lake St. Clair, two of the most productive fisheries in the Great Lakes region. Having grown up on the St. Clair River, Captain Nathan has spent his entire life fishing these waters. Whenever he wasn’t in school or working, he was on the water chasing everything from the spring walleye runs to fall sturgeon, learning the patterns that make this system so unique.

Today, Captain Nathan brings that lifelong local knowledge to every trip. His goal is not only to help you catch fish, but to create lasting memories on the water with family and friends while experiencing one of Michigan’s most exciting fisheries.

These trips focus on targeting Walleye, a prized species known for both its fight and excellent table fare. Depending on the time of year and current conditions, Captain Nathan will use a variety of proven techniques including jigging, trolling crankbaits, and pulling crawler harnesses to find active fish.

You’ll fish from a 21’ Lund aluminum fishing boat departing from the Detroit area. This versatile boat is well suited for both the current of the St. Clair River and the open waters of Lake St. Clair. It’s fully equipped with GPS, fishfinder technology, a live bait well, and a wireless trolling motor to help position the boat precisely where the fish are holding.

Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, and live bait, so everything is ready for you when you step aboard. If you decide to keep legal fish, catch cleaning and filleting are also included, making it easy to take your fresh catch home after the trip.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or new to walleye fishing, Captain Nathan will help guide you through the techniques needed to fish these waters effectively. With years of experience on the St. Clair River and Lake St. Clair system, he’ll work hard to put you on fish and make your day on the water one to remember.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
