About Your Trip

Head offshore out of St. Augustine with Captain Tony for a flexible, action-driven fishing trip running roughly 10 to 30 miles into the Atlantic. These waters are defined by changing current edges, scattered wrecks, bait movement, and structure that can shift the bite from hour to hour.

Depending on conditions, the day may begin trolling live bait or lures across color changes and weed lines in search of pelagic species pushing through the area. On other days, Captain Tony may set up on deeper structure to bottom fish over reefs, ledges, and hard bottom where fish stack up with the tide. Vertical jigging and slow presentations may also come into play when marks show fish holding off the bottom or suspended in the water column.

You will be aboard a 24-foot pair custom center console built for offshore versatility and a smooth, capable ride in St. Augustine’s nearshore and blue water conditions. Designed for both range and fishability, this boat features an open deck layout that allows anglers to move freely while fighting fish or setting lines, along with quality electronics to help locate bait and structure offshore. The center console design keeps sightlines open and provides efficient access around the boat whether trolling, drifting, or anchored up.

The offshore waters here can produce a wide mix of species depending on the season and conditions, including king mackerel, jacks, cobia, tarpon, snapper, grouper, sailfish, mahi-mahi, triggerfish, shark, and more.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided. Just bring snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate gear for a full day offshore with Captain Tony.

Captain Tony is USCG certified and insured, with more than 25 years of fishing and boating experience.

Growing up on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, Tony spent a lot of his time on the water. Whether fishing with friends or enjoying time with his family at the sand bar, if Tony was on the water he was happy. Since joining the U.S. Navy in 2005 and now with a family of his own, little has changed and the enjoyment of being on the water has only grown as he passes the knowledge, fun and love of the water on to his daughter.

Captain Tony is a proud U.S. Navy veteran who honorably served for 20 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he traveled the globe as a C-130T Loadmaster and Flight Engineer, playing a vital role in countless missions that spanned continents. His time in the Navy was marked by adventure, purpose, and deep camaraderie. From delivering critical supplies to remote regions to supporting operations around the world, Captain Tony describes his military career as both rewarding and extraordinary. Now retired, he reflects on his service with pride and gratitude for the experiences and the people he encountered along the way.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
