About Your Trip

No prior freediving or spearfishing experience needed but you must be a strong swimmer to take part. Before every dive is a thorough pre-dive briefing giving you all the basics on freediving skills, spearfishing techniques and more!

The invasive Lionfish is one of our primary targets as well as predatory species like; barracuda, jacks, cero, snappers and more. The dive itself is usually around 2hrs and anything caught is filleted for you afterwards ready to take home for lunch/dinner.

We dive all over Barbados depending on the forecast/conditions as well as your location. We can sometimes support transportation.

Alex is Barbados' freediving record holder with 11 National Records with his deepest dive on one breath to 92m/301ft and a veteran spearfishing guide with over 13yrs of experience.

We cater to everyone from complete first timers to experienced we can handle special requests.

Alex is an AIDA Master Instructor and veteran spearfishing guide who has called Barbados home since 2011. Originally from Cornwall in the UK, he built his life around the ocean and now shares that passion through guided spearfishing adventures and freediving courses designed for both beginners and experienced divers.

With more than 12 years of professional experience, Alex holds 11 national freediving records in Barbados, reaching depths of 92 meters (301 feet) in constant weight. He is deeply committed to sustainable hunting practices and actively encourages divers to target invasive lionfish to help protect local reef ecosystems.

Alex is EFR First Aid and CPR certified and was trained as a competition safety diver by Stephen Keenen in 2017. His expertise has been featured on shows such as Food Unwrapped and Original Fare, as well as in major publications and leading freediving podcasts.

Professional, safety-focused, and passionate about the underwater world, Alex delivers a world-class spearfishing and freediving experience rooted in skill, respect for the ocean, and a true love for the sport.

Everything is included but guests will need their; swimming clothes/wetsuit, towel, sunscreen and drinking water.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
