About Your Trip

If you’re ready to chase world-class tuna off the coast of Cape Town, this offshore adventure is your ticket to the deep blue. With Captain George and Captain Warren at the helm, you’ll be fishing alongside seasoned professionals who know these waters inside and out. Their experience, local knowledge, and commitment to safety and service make every trip a focused, well-run expedition.

Your day begins with an early run offshore—sometimes traveling up to 40 nautical
miles in search of productive water and active fish. These are true bluewater missions, heading to the renowned tuna grounds off Cape Point where temperature breaks, bird life, and bait activity can signal opportunity below the surface.

Depending on the time of year, you may encounter Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore (Longfin), Bigeye, Bluefin, and Yellowtail. Some days call for covering ground and trolling to locate fish, while other conditions may favor drift fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, or even bottom fishing. Light and heavy tackle setups are available to match the target species and technique, and for the more adventurous anglers, spearfishing is also an option. As with all offshore fishing, success depends on conditions and fish behavior—but the crew works hard to give you the best possible opportunity every time you head out.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 30’ Titan 300EC sportfishing vessel designed for both performance and comfort, with space for up to six passengers. Outfitted with GPS, fishfinder, radar, and a live bait well, this boat has everything needed for serious deep sea fishing. Onboard comforts include a private toilet with electric flush, a bed, kitchen area, refrigerator, and an ice box to keep your catch fresh.

Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, and when mackerel are around, you may even stop to catch live bait—often part of the strategy and fun of the day. Drinks are included, and you’re welcome to bring your own beverages (just avoid hard liquor and glass bottles). Lunch is typically served shortly after leaving the harbor, and the crew is happy to accommodate dietary needs with advance notice.

Families are welcome aboard, and kids can absolutely join in on the adventure. Be sure to ask about appropriately sized life vests if needed, and don’t forget snacks and sun protection. Before your trip, each angler will need to obtain a local fishing license, and the crew can help guide you through that process. Some species may be regulated or require specific tags depending on the season.

Fishing the waters off Cape Point is a true offshore experience—long runs, open ocean, and the chance to connect with some of the most respected game fish in the world. With Captain George and Captain Warren leading the way, you’ll have a knowledgeable team dedicated to delivering a safe, professional, and memorable day on the water.

Our charters target some of the most exciting species in the South Atlantic, including Yellowfin, Bigeye, Bluefin, Albacore, and Yellowtail Amberjack. Every trip is designed

What truly sets our team apart is our blend of expertise, hospitality, and heart. We operate with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and community impact—often donating kept fish to local NPOs in Gordons Bay and Strand. Guests enjoy a well‑equipped vessel, quality gear, refreshments, and a crew that goes the extra mile to ensure comfort and confidence at sea. With us, every trip becomes more than a charter—it becomes a story worth telling, a memory worth keeping, and a reason to return.
