About Your Trip

Push far beyond the typical fishing grounds and experience the ultimate Gulf of Mexico fishing adventure with Captain Nick on this 14–18 hour trophy offshore charter out of Zeke’s Landing in Orange Beach, Alabama. These extended trips are designed for anglers who want to chase some of the largest and most powerful fish in the Gulf, combining deepwater bottom fishing with high-speed trolling for pelagic predators.

Running well offshore to remote ledges, wrecks, and bluewater
structure, these trips put you in prime position to target Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjack, Grouper, Red Snapper, and Gray Triggerfish depending on the season and conditions. Captain Nick will often mix techniques throughout the trip, trolling offshore waters for pelagic species like Marlin, Tuna, and Wahoo, then switching to deep dropping or bottom fishing over productive structure for hard-fighting reef species.

The 14-hour trip is perfect for anglers looking to chase big fish while still returning the same day. This trip focuses on fishing productive offshore structure while also trolling the surrounding waters, targeting species such as Wahoo, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Red and Gag Grouper, and Triggerfish, with the chance for larger pelagic species along the way.

For the ultimate offshore experience, the 18-hour trip pushes even farther into the Gulf in search of true trophy fish. These extended runs give the crew time to explore deeper waters where Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and Wahoo patrol the bluewater, offering anglers the chance to battle some of the ocean’s most legendary game fish.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 42’ sportfishing vessel built for serious offshore action and long-range comfort. The boat is equipped with outriggers, radar, GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, ice boxes, and plenty of deck space for fighting large fish. Inside the cabin, guests will find air conditioning, a clean restroom, beds, a kitchen area, and a refrigerator, giving you a comfortable place to rest during the long trip offshore.

All rods, reels, tackle, and live bait are included, and your fishing licenses are covered by the charter. The crew often spends time catching fresh live bait before heading offshore, which greatly increases the chances of hooking into larger fish.

A first mate will be onboard to assist with baiting hooks, setting lines, and helping land trophy fish throughout the trip. Fish cleaning is available back at the dock for a small fee, and freezer bags are provided for your catch. A 20% tip for the mate is customary.

These extended offshore trips are perfect for anglers looking to chase the fish of a lifetime and experience the thrill of battling powerful pelagic species in deep Gulf waters. If you're ready to run far offshore and test your skills against some of the ocean’s toughest fighters, Captain Nick and his crew are ready to take you there.
