The waters off Nosara are famous for their abundance and diversity of game fish, making them a prime destination for both inshore and offshore fishing. Depending on the trip length and seasonal conditions, anglers may have the chance to target species such as Marlin (Blue, Black, and Striped), Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Cubera Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and Little Tunny.

Captain Juan and his crew specialize in a variety of productive techniques including trolling for billfish and pelagics, bottom fishing for reef species, and deep sea fishing offshore. Each trip is customized based on conditions and your fishing goals, whether you’re chasing a trophy billfish or enjoying a relaxed day targeting multiple species.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 31’ Bertram sportfisher, a spacious and well-equipped boat designed for offshore fishing adventures. The vessel features a flybridge for excellent visibility, outriggers, tuna tubes, GPS, fishfinder, radar, live bait well, and plenty of deck space for fighting big fish. For added comfort, the boat includes an enclosed restroom, making it a great option for families and longer trips.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are included, ensuring you have the right gear for the day’s fishing. The crew will also clean and fillet your catch at no additional cost, so your fish is ready to prepare after the trip.

Guests can enjoy fresh fruit, snacks, and sandwiches, along with water, sodas, and beer onboard. If you have dietary preferences or special drink requests, you’re welcome to bring additional items or arrange them in advance.

For those looking to add more adventure to the day, snorkeling equipment can be arranged upon request so you can explore the vibrant waters around Playa Garza.

A knowledgeable first mate will be onboard to assist throughout the trip, from setting lines to helping land fish and preparing your catch. A 20% tip for the mate is customary for their hard work and dedication.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
