About Your Trip

If you’re looking to target one of Muskoka’s most prized fish, this Lake Trout trip is the way to go. Known for their size, strength, and deep-water habits, Lake Trout offer a unique and rewarding challenge in some of the most scenic lakes Ontario has to offer.

You’ll be fishing across a wide range of premier fisheries throughout Muskoka, Haliburton, and the North Bay area, including well-known waters like Lake of Bays and Lake Joseph.
These deep, clear lakes are the perfect habitat for trophy Lake Trout.

Your guide will use a mix of jigging and trolling techniques to target fish holding at different depths, adjusting throughout the day to stay on the bite. Whether you’re dropping jigs into deep structure or covering water with trolling setups, you’ll learn proven techniques to hook into these powerful fish.

Fishing takes place aboard a versatile Alumacraft 205, perfect for navigating these larger lakes while keeping you comfortable and in position.

All gear is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. Fish cleaning is available for $5 per fish if you’d like to bring some home.

With 4-hour and 6-hour trip options available, this is an excellent way to experience the beauty of Muskoka while targeting one of its top game fish.
