Head offshore and experience the challenge of big game fishing in the Adriatic Sea as you pursue one of the region's most sought-after species, the Bluefin Tuna. Known for their speed, strength, and endurance, these powerful fish have earned a reputation as one of the premier game fish in the world.

This is a self-guided trip, making it a great option for anglers who want the freedom to fish on their own while taking advantage of a fully equipped offshore vessel. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome aboard, whether you're an experienced fisherman or looking to try tuna fishing for the first time.

Possible start times include 12:00 a.m., 4:30 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Please note that your scheduled departure time is not flexible, so be sure to arrive on time and ready to board.

Fishing is conducted using a combination of live bait and artificial lures, depending on conditions and fish activity. Live bait is included, along with all rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment needed for the trip. Lunch and fish cleaning are also included.

You'll fish aboard a 25' Pilot House equipped with GPS, Fishfinder, a live bait well, tuna tubes, a wireless trolling motor, and an ice box. For additional comfort, the boat also features a bed, kitchen, and refrigerator. Snorkeling equipment is available as well.

Everything is included, but we recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal items you'd like for the day.

Every trip is different, but this is a great opportunity to spend time on the Adriatic targeting one of the ocean's most respected game fish.

As a sea lover, fishing, and my hometown Bakarac I have been fascinated by its Tuna observation posts and the stories they tell since I was a child. The love grew with me so I started researching and developing the idea of recreating Tuna fishing in the way it was done years ago and in 2015 I organized the first simulation of Tuna fishing the old-fashioned way. This event called "Tira, Tira!" expanded in the following years and became recognized as one of the most significant summer events in the area. In 2018 it was recognized by the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies and the magazine "Way to Croatia" and we received the award Simply the Best for the creativity of the event, which with its content enriches the tourist offer of the local community and nurtures customs. With the development of "Tira" my desire for real fishing for big fish only grew stronger so for the last few years I have been competing with my team in Big Game competitions as a member of the BigOm club from Omišalj, Krk, and for the last couple of seasons I have been the holder of the national fishing quota for big fish. I live by the sea and with the sea so I set sail all year round, fishing according to season.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
